The Coach House, Boutique apartment

Located in a quiet hamlet close to Plymouth and on the edge of Dartmoor, the Coach House is a boutique double bedroom apartment with it's own kitchen/living area and en suite bathroom. It is beautifully decorated, with a luxurious bed and other creature comforts. It is ideal for walkers, as a romantic getaway or as an alternative to a hotel for business travellers. We are located 20 mins from Plymouth and about 10 mins from Derriford Hospital. The Coach House was recently converted to now accommodate guests in a luxurious boutique self-contained apartment. The space includes a fitted kitchen/living room. The kitchen is fitted with a fridge, a two burner electric hob, a microwave oven, a toaster, a kettle, as well as a Nespresso coffee machine. The bedroom is light and airy with views across the valley to the moor. There is a super comfy King size double bed with crisp Egyptian cotton sheets and a sumptuous duvet and anti-allergy micro-fibre pillows. There is a small desk and chair, hanging space for clothes and storage under the bed, if required. The bathroom has a bath with a rain shower over and has it’s own hot water supply. We provide Bramley products and also towels. To make your stay more relaxing we provide complimentary teas, coffee, cereals, milk, bread, butter, jams and biscuits. The kitchen is well equipped so you are able to make your own meals. There is free wifi at the Coach House. It has recently been upgrade and we are now able to steam etc so should be more than adequate for your needs! There is also a TV with FreeSat in the living room and a radio in the bedroom. Guest have total privacy of the Coach House, but the rest of the gardens are private. We are on the edge of the moor so you can virtually stride out from the Coach House! The Coach house is part of Hoo Meavy House, in the quiet hamlet of Hoo Meavy. Located on the edge of picturesque Dartmoor, but within easy reach of Plymouth, we are in the perfect spot to explore Devon or unwind after a day’s work. We are approx. 20 mins by car to Plymouth centre and 10 mins to Derriford. Yelverton is only 5 minutes away with many shops, cafes, a deli and a couple of take away restaurants. There are also a number of good pubs in the area including The Royal Oak in Meavy, The Cornish Arms in Tavistock to name a few serving good pub grub. We are in a stunning part of Dartmoor and close to the area where they filmed some of Steven Spielberg’s War Horse. There are many places to explore and glorious walks, for which we would only be too happy to point you in the right direction. Tavistock, Ashburton and Totnes are all within easy reach. We are also on Cycle route 27 which goes from Plymouth to Ilfracombe and we can provide secure overnight bike storage. Coronavirus - just to reassure our guests we will be doing extra deep cleans of the apartment after each stay and will be ensuring all surfaces, door handles etc are disinfected thoroughly. We are also be airing the apartment between stays and having a buffer of at least 36 hours between stays. Unfortunately we are therefore not able to offer stays of less than 2 nights. We do not accommodate children at The Coach House, of any age including toddlers - sorry! We are on book face!
