No 56 is a self contained studio apartment located on Church street in the heart of the historical Minster town of Southwell, Nottinghamshire. A stones throw away from the beautiful Minster church, you can even see the tops of the famous spires (Pepper pots) from the front door of the apartment. You can walk to the the centre of Southwell town centre in less than five minutes, where you can enjoy the town’s amenities making No 56 an ideal location for anyone wanting to stay centrally. No 56 is an annex attached to a beautiful Georgian townhouse, built in 1756. The house was the childhood home of Kate, the owner, who purchased the house in 2019 bringing it back in her family. The apartment itself has its own separate entrance with lock box so it is easily accessible and private (Covid friendly) Recently renovated to a high standard, the apartment has underfloor heating, a newly appointed kitchen with induction hob, double bed with hotel quality bedding, seating area and a modern en-suite shower room. Everything you need for a perfect stay in this beautiful town. While you are staying at No 56, we’d like you to have the best time possible and make full use of the facilities. The kitchen is suitable for cooking small meals and ideal for your self catering stay with us. We provide fresh coffee, variety of tea, sugar, fresh milk, orange juice, cooking oil, salt & pepper. Parking is available on Church street but can be limited at times. As Church street is the main street leading up to the town centre, it can get busy at times. There are off roads where you can park which are no more than a 2-4 minute walk from the property. Guests will be given instructions on how to gain self access to the property. Alternatively, the host is more than happy to meet the guests to give them the key if that is what they’d prefer. The host can be contacted by mobile if the guests have any questions/queries during their stay. Church street is the main street that leads to the centre of Southwell. Centrally located, you'll find the Minster church and it's grounds located there. Number 75 Church street is the home to the original bramley tree. Also on Church street, there are also four traditional pubs, one directly opposite No 56, and a wine bar/shop. Southwell (known as ‘the Jewel in Nottinghamshire’s crown’) is a beautiful town with many things to see and do. The Minster cathedral is nestled in heart of the town and only a couple of minutes walk away from No 56. The town itself is vibrant and boasts a number of independent boutique shops, cafes, and restaurants. The market place bustles at the weekend with a local market. Everything in Southwell is in walking distance from the apartment. The town centre is just a 5 minute walk at the most. There are a number of public carparks in and around Southwell. Very Covid friendly as it’s a self contained apartment
