The guest space is ideal for couples wanting a relaxing break or business / solo travellers who'd prefer to stay in a home rather than a hotel. Guests will have their own entrance and keys providing both freedom and privacy. You’ll have sole access to the space (bedroom, en-suite and kitchenette) which are all on one level on the ground floor, so it’ll feel private and self-contained. There are no shared/communal areas and no shared doors. There's a space on our driveway for your car at all times. We’re currently still limiting our interaction with guests so whilst I'll welcome you from a distance, most of my interaction will be via the Airbnb messaging system, rather than in person. We appreciate that guests value their privacy and we always respect this. However, I’m always available to answer any questions you might have. I’ve got lots of information to share with you on what to see and do, and where to eat during your stay. I’ve added this in the guidebook on the Airbnb listing along with how to access this via information in your room. Nancledra is a small Cornish village midway between St Ives (3.1 miles) and Penzance (4 miles) so we’re ideally situated as a base to explore this truly stunning part of Cornwall. We're right next to an AONB and just 4.4 miles from Porthminster beach (voted No 11 in Europe). There's lots of countryside walking (or running!) directly from the door. We have a community shop open at weekends that has a small selection of groceries and lots of farm shops in the area. We're well located if you're a fan of Poldark as lots of the locations used in the TV series are around us. The guidebook on the listing includes my recommendations on things to see and do whilst you're here. Aside from nature, there's oodles of art, craft and pottery to see and buy and lots of good places to eat with the emphasis on 'fresh' and 'local'. We are only a couple of minutes walk to the bus stop in Nancledra where you can get the No. 16 bus to St Ives (15 mins) or Penzance (38 mins). Download the Go Cornwall Bus app to see the timetable etc. Both St Ives and Penzance have a train station. However given the rural nature of Cornwall, to get the best out of your stay, travelling by car is best. If you're going into St Ives, you could take your car to the 'Park and Ride' at St Erth and take the train to St Ives along the wonderful coastline, passing through Carbis Bay. There are also open top buses which travel around the coast stopping off at landmarks such as St Michael's Mount, the Minack theatre, St Just, Porthcurno and Lands End etc and these leave from both St Ives and Penzance The Wallbox 7.4kw EV charging facility is available for guests to use at an additional cost charged at standard rate.
