Quinta da Ribeira - with Private Pool and Gardens

Quinta da Ribeira was lovingly restored by my parents, Lurdes and Nuno in 2005 to create a beautiful home from home, in a peaceful setting. Enjoy private use of the 2 bedroom farmhouse, - with its glorious pool and well manicured gardens. The Quinta is a great space for a relaxing getaway, ideal for couples and small families. Our child friendly rural retreat has plenty of room to roam, relax and play! Just a few minutes from Tabua town you can access shops, restaurants and facilities with ease. Enjoy peace and quiet at the Quinta, and explore the extensive gardens with many creative features including some which have been hand carved by my father. The large pool is wonderful for cooling off. Lounge by the poolside and take in the scenery! Outside you have several areas set up for alfresco dining and picnics. Those interested in animals can also visit our resident pigs and sheep! Guests have full private use of the 2 bedroom farmhouse and private use of the pool and enclosed gardens. A family member will visit each day to check on and feed the animals and ensure that the pool is sparkling clean for guests use. I do not live on site but we live nearby and can be contacted easily should you need anything! You will find plenty of information to help you find your way around - however if you need something specific, please do not hesitate to ask. Tabua is a great base for exploring the Central Region. There is a wealth of history in the area and we can help you to discover local Dolmens, historic buildings and points of interest built by the Romans! We also have a great selection of River Beaches and beauty spots in this stunning and very natural area. Let us help you explore the area and cuisine like a local! Plenty of local activities such as horse riding, kayaking, SUP, swimming, boat trips and so on to enjoy! We are surrounded by incredible natural scenery and clean rivers. The Quinta is fully enclosed and gated with plenty of space for parking. A car is essential for exploring this rural area as public transportation is limited.
