Near to the towns of Buxton & Chapel-en-le-Frith. Cities of Sheffield & Manchester only 45 minute journey by car. GETTING TO PEAK FOREST If travelling on foot access to Peak Forest can be somewhat limited, and requires planning of the available public transport options. Public Transport - Buses: one minute to bus stop, bus route 190: Buxton to Whaley Bridge. This service is operating a slightly revised normal Monday to Friday timetable and a reduced service on Saturday. - Trains: nearest stations are Buxton, Chapel-en-le-Frith and Hope. - Taxis: there are no taxi services available in Peak Forest. Nearest available taxi services are from Buxton and Chapel-en-le-Frith.
