This recently renovated house is a traditional stone-built family house village surrounded with splendid gardens, lemon and peach trees and two barns, and magnificent views to the village and the sea. In the frond there are two large terraces with pergolas offering shade and an opportunity to enjoy the tranquility of natural surroundings, the summery sounds of the sparrows and cicadas, the views of the village, the sea, and the prevalent rugged mountain of Kourvoulo dropping steeply to a river basic that leads to the valley of the Dipotamata ecosystem. Airport: Athens airport to Rafina port Ferry: Rafina port (Athens) to Gavrio port (Andros) There are regular daily ferry services to Andros island from Rafina port. The ferry takes 2 hours to the port of Andros called Gavrio. Directions from Gavrio to Syneti: You follow the signs to Xora for 31 km, turn right to sign Elikodromio, continue for 6 km and then turn left to sign Syneti. It takes approximately 50 minutes from Gavrio port to Syneti Village. The villa is at Syneti Village where we will waiting you at the end of the road (Parking area) to guide you through a footpath beneath trees. Me or my mother will be around, but not in the same house Andros island combines the classic Aegean sea beach holiday (and water sports) experience with a unique culture, history, and tradition. This makes Andros an ideal destination both for relaxing and adventurous vacations. The nearby Chora town (capital) boasts and showcases a history of maritime tradition, picturesque streets packed with cafes, art galleries and studios, a museum of contemporary art organising world-famous artist exhibitions (maintained by the Basil and Elise Goulandris Foundation), and the mansions of well known ship owners and captains. Andros mainland offers unique trekking routes where the trekkers can experience the island's rich flora, high mountain views, gorges, the unique Dipotamata ecosystem (which is a short distance from the villa), and some unspoilt paradisiacal beaches accessible only by foot or boat. An increasing number of visitors can nowadays join well organised teams of expert trekking guides. The house is located in the Sineti village, which is 9 Km and 15 minute drive from the capital of Andros, Chora. It is a further 5 minute walk from the centre of the village and the car park. The car is necessary. On the island one can spot many beautiful beaches, famous springs, high mountain treks, steep valleys and natural ecosystems, delicious traditional food, nightlife, monuments, monasteries, and unique architecture. Also there are a lot of oficial trails for hiking. In the village of Sineti a visitor can enjoy everything the island has to offer, combined with the village's tranquility of the nearby seas and wildlife.
