Room with a view of the Galloway hills

Escape to the stunning Galloway hills and enjoy a relaxing break on the outskirts of the rural town of Newton Stewart, with countless opportunities to explore this unspoiled area of natural beauty. This cosy hideaway is situated in our brand new Scandi style home which was only finished in June 2016. Come and enjoy the amazing light from the full length windows with a beautiful view from each one. Outside your room there is a patio and seating area to enjoy breakfast or a glass of wine in the evening to look at the wonderful stars as part of the famous Galloway Dark Sky Park. In addition to your private room, during your stay you will have access to your own private bathroom, patio and outdoor seating area. The kitchen is available if required and secure storage for bikes on request. I provide information on local attractions and also local walks and beaches to visit. Our region boasts stunning beaches; world class mountain biking trails; several golf courses; hill walking routes; Scotland's National Food, Book and Artist towns; historic properties inc. castles, country homes etc.; Dark Sky Park - Galloway is one of the darkest areas in Europe ideal for stargazing; and beautiful countryside. I am a ten minute walk from the nearest bus stop for those of you travelling by public transport and other areas are accessible by bus. Your car will be safe on my secure driveway if you want to go out walking in the hills for the day. Please be aware that the TV in the room is for use with DVDs only - of which we have provided a varied selection. A DIY breakfast of cereal and toast with preserves is left out in the kitchen for you to help yourselves. My house also backs onto a beautiful 18 hole golf course.
