Rossmay Caravan: Lakeside holiday home with beach
This static caravan sits overlooking the uninterrupted views of Loch Long & its mountain backdrop with access to our private beach. Ideal for those who enjoy walks, fishing, cycling & relaxing in the country. With the abundance of wildlife (jumping fish, sunbathing seals & daily visits of a local resident goose) you won't find it dull. Great base to explore Scotland, 45 minute drive from Glasgow Airport, located within the "Loch Lomond and The Trossachs" National Park in Argyll & Bute. A fantastic place for families, this caravan has two bedrooms: a master bedroom with a double bed, and a separate bedroom with twin single beds. The master bedroom is accompanied with an en suite toilet. The open plan living room and kitchen with views of the loch and mountains. With a mind to current social distancing, access will be via a key lock box, details of which will be sent prior to arrival. The caravan is behind the main house of the Rossmay House estate. We do not live in the house but we are available if needed. I sometimes have staff who look after the grounds of the house during the day. Arrochar is a small peaceful village with its breath taking views of Loch Long. Many have enjoyed their time here climbing The Cobbler mountain. We are situated south of Arrochar in a small area known as Ardmay. Having access to a car is recommended. The nearest pub and restaurant is the well known Village Inn at Arrochar which can be reached on foot in around 15-20 minutes. The nearest train station is Arrochar & Tarbet which is 3 miles (5 km) away. The space cannot be used for events, functions, or for commercial purposes. If you intend to do so, please reach out to me prior to booking.
