Bedroom with en-suite in the beautiful South Hams

Private suite within an architect designed house in the centre of the village. Overlooking a private courtyard of five houses; two of which were once the Victorian primary school. Spacious, comfortable room with king-size bed and ample drawer and hanging space, as well as tea and coffee making facilities and fast, unlimited wifi. Only three minutes’ walk from shops, pubs, restaurants, cafe and petrol-station. Ideally situated to enjoy everything that the beautiful South Hams has to offer. The suite is at the top of two flights of stairs; it is spacious and comfortable. The bathroom doesn't have a stand-up shower (the eaves prevents this) but the bath has a hand-held shower. There are tea and coffee making facilities in the room. (Please could we ask you not to wear your outdoor shoes in the house; we unwisely have cream carpet!) My name is Emma and I am your host; I will welcome you upon arrival, show you to your room and ensure have everything you need for your stay. You will have your own front-door key for the duration of your stay. Yealmpton is in the heart of the South Hams, an area with a strong rural and maritime heritage, much of which is designated as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and featuring one of the most beautiful stretches of coastline in the UK. Ten minutes’ drive away are the pretty twin waterside villages of Newton Ferrers and Noss Mayo, which have three excellent waterside pubs between them, the Ship Inn in Noss Mayo serves food all day. The bustling harbourside towns of Salcombe and Dartmouth with a variety of shops and restaurants serving local seafood; the historic market town of Totnes; the historic maritime city of Plymouth, Dartmoor National Park, the South West Cost Path and many beaches are all within easy reach.
