Fabulous family house with coastal vibe

Recently renovated, well appointed family home in the quiet West Wight village of Totland. Situated on an unadopted residential road just a short walk (approximately 10 minutes) to the beaches of Totland and Colwell. There is a convenience store about five minutes walk away and the larger village of Freshwater about 10 minutes with a good range of shops including independent butcher, bakery and fishmonger. There is comfortable seating in the sitting room for eight people. The kitchen is well equipped and the dining table seats eight easily. The communal areas downstairs have seating areas that allow for those who wish to be a bit separate from the tv. Guests have access to the whole house and garden but not the garage. There is a utility room and a porch where bicycles and buggies can be stored. I won’t be available in person to offer help but am happy to answer any queries by phone or email. Totland Bay is in the picturesque and quiet “West Wight”. It is a few minutes drive or bus journey to Alum Bay - famous for its coloured sands - and the Needles lighthouse. There are lots of local walks, both seaside and downland, that need no transport. Yarmouth with its ferry terminal and pretty harbour, is about three miles away. There is a bus stop about two minutes walk away. There is unrestricted parking on the road outside the house. The two single beds that are listed as being in the king size bedroom are actually separated by a door that also leads to the en-suite bathroom. (You have to go through the bedroom with the king size bed to get to the single beds that are listed as being in the same room.) Ideal for children or good friends!
