Quiet, at the end of a little hamlet, without car traffic, my renovated farm house awaits you. It has kept its authenticity and offers a 1950's atmosphere as well as modern comfort. The cottage has several private parking spaces (possibility of closed garage), 2 terraces and a garden. Come and relax in the countryside, surrounded by fields, forests and vineyards. However, you are not isolated since you can also enjoy all the amenities of Montguyon which is only 3 minutes away. 45 minutes from Bordeaux, 30 minutes from Saint Emilion, the gates of the Perigord (Dordogne) and its gastronomy 15 minutes away, the spa town of Jonzac 45 minutes away and the Atlantic beaches at an hour and a half. In the heart of the Double forest and the Cognac vineyards, the Haute Saintonge area offers a multitude of activities linked to its heritage, its traditions, its unspoiled nature and its gastronomy. I suggest you to use bicycles to discover Montguyon, the Beauvallon beach (lake), the old Saint Georges quarries (Kaolune at 1.5 kilometer), vineyards, forests and to walk along the river "Le Palais" located 300 meters away. Coffee, tea, sugar, biscuits, salt, pepper ..... are at your disposal. The outdoor spa is operational (bathrobes are at your diposal). The thick walls made of stones allow the house to stay cool during summer. Sun visors, blackout blinds and mosquito nets complete this comfort. Ashtrays are available outside. During summer, you can harvest vegetables in my garden.
