Tan y Bryn Bach is a recently renovated bolthole in the mountain village of Llanllechid at the foot of the Carneddau mountains in Snowdonia. Footpaths lead from the back garden directly up to Gyrn and Moel Wnion and beyond to the main Carneddau ridge which contain seven of the 15 peaks in Wales over 3000 feet. Aficionados will maintain that the area is not only the quietest part of Snowdonia but also its most beautiful. There are also beautiful lower walks from the doorstep as well as further afield. The owners, who live next door, have designed the house to be a warm and welcoming base for anyone visiting the area.
