Poplar Tree Eco Lodge

Poplar Tree Eco Lodge is a modern American style log home with a traditional mix of Welsh stone and D shape logs. It has breath taking views over the Black mountains and the beautiful Red Kites can be swooping down on most days. The lodge is entirely suitable for the larger groups where the open plan kitchen, diner and lounge area make it a great place to socialise and enjoy a meal with family and friends. There is also a hot tub in the garden which is shared with Beech Tree Lodge next door. Poplars Tree Lodge is one of two semi detached lodges. Downstairs is completely disabled friendly where you can sit out on a patio area and enjoy spectacular views over the mountains. The kitchens are open plan and spacious with a large dining table where all can sit together and eat. The bedrooms are stylish and spacious, and the beds are extremely comfortable, because at the end of the day you're really just there for some good shut-eye. There is a hot tub in the garden which is shared with Beech Tree Lodge next door. Guests are asked to chat together ad arrange time slots where each party can enjoy the hot tub. There are also 12 mountain bikes to hire which is a great way of accessing the beautiful countryside while ambling along Country lanes or even a local reservoir (or two). As it is a working farm we live on site and will be around on the yards working so generally will be able to help out with any questions or assistance that you might need. Crai is a very small rural village, unfortunately there is no village shop or pub but our next closest village is called Sennybridge approx. 2.5 miles away which has all the amenities that you would require. Some very nice pubs and great eating houses. Crai village has a bus stop on the main road with a regular bus time table.
