Muralto - 5 Bedroom Villa with Panoramic Pool

Welcome to Muralto, my family house for the past 40 years. Muralto is an ancient, typical Umbrian "Casale" that my wife and I have recently transformed into a holiday residence, in the middle of our one and a half hectares olive tree plantation. It is home to so many beautiful memories and we hope you will enjoy it as much as we did. The house itself is spread out over 2 floors and is positioned on the side of a hill with broad, breath taking views of the countryside and hills. The property also includes a swimming pool, a tennis court, vast gardens full of our lovely flowers, trees and plants as well as an outdoor kitchen with wood-fire oven and a barbecue. We can house up to 10 guests across 5 bedrooms (the 3 x Twin bed-rooms can be transformed into Double bed-rooms if necessary). There is also the possibility of two additional beds in the annex, which is located a few meters from the house, to be requested at the time of booking and paid locally. Next to the accommodation is a large garage (can fit 2 cars) which is at your disposal. The car park up-front can fit 4 more cars. The back of the house is bordered by a secondary road that leads to the tiny hamlet of Penna di Teverina, you can reach it with a very pleasant 20 minute walk up hill or a 5 min drive on the main road. The Orte-Roma highway is only 10 mins away, and you can reach Rome in just under an hour (be sure to avoid peak traffic times). We are located near to some great places of interest and close to local amenities: 2,4 km Penna in Teverina (grocery shops), 15 km the fauna oasis of Alviano (bird watching), 42 km Viterbo and the Etruscan area of Tuscania, Cerveteri and Orvieto, 50 km Rome (can easily be reached by train from the Orte railway station 10 km away). Best place to shop for groceries is the Conad Super Market in Orte, just 10mins drive downhill.
