Quiet, Peaceful & Secluded Streamside House,

Historic 3 Bedroom House close to Woodstock, Phoenicia, Hunter and Belleayre Ski Centers. Available for seasonal, week & weekend rental with 2 Baths, Living Room, Dining Room, Eat in Kitchen, Woods, Stream, Fire Place, Burn Pit, 51" TV, 15' x 30' Deck, High Speed Internet, Great Cell Service, large yard, large hill, nicely secluded. We have Adirondack Reclining Chairs on 3 acres of property. The house is quiet & Peaceful next to Dry Brook surrounded by The Catskill Mountains. The house is completely cleaned and ready for your arrival and you have the whole place to yourselves. All you need is food, drink and firewood that can be purchased in Boiceville 4 miles from the house. We use a lock box between the Screen door and front door which holds the key to access the house. An e-mail is sent the day before your arrival to update the access code for the lock box and internet information. We do not bother our guests. The key code is sent with directions and info about the house and surrounding area via e-mail. The key is located in a lock box between the screen and front doors. We give you a number to contact us if you have any problems or questions. I am usually close by should you have any issues....just please let me know! The house is located in the mountains, it is nicely secluded with Woods to the North, a huge hill to the east, stream to the West and a large lawn to the south. There are no other houses visible from the house during the summer. You can walk around the town, hike the Catskill Mountains, bike the many scenic roads, swim in the streams, fish, kayak or tube the Esopus Creek about 10 miles from the house, walk the dam near the Ashokan Reservoir or sit and relax by the stream or on the deck at the house. There is no mass transit but, you can drive, run, bike or hike anywhere you want. You can fish, hike, ride bikes, walk along the Reservoir dam, walk or ride bikes along the New Rail Trail or visit the Town Park with Pool and Playground. The park with the pavilion is available for rent for large parties about 1 mile from the house. There is also Marty's general store also one mile from the house or just sit by the stream and relax. There are tennis rackets and fishing poles in the closet under the stairs. Will need tennis balls and some other fishing items which can be purchased at Olives in Shokan as you are on your way to the house.
