Vieux-College, stylish villageoise apartment.

Vieux-College (Old school) is a period home built in the early 1800s and up until the 1970s was also the village school. Set in the charming village of Trélex in the foothills of the Jura mountains, overlooking Lac Leman, surrounded by woods, vines and open pasture. This ground-floor apartment is self-contained with its own entrance, fully equipped kitchen and private rear garden. The principal bedroom is en-suite with a bath / shower. Bedroom 2 has use of the guest bathroom with toilet and shower. There is a single room/study and laundry. There is parking in front of the apartment with access via the front door. A second entrance is through the garden door into the guests own private garden. Your host lives above and will be available to welcome you and answer all your questions. Stocking of the fridge is possible via pre-arrangement. Trelex has a butcher, boulangerie, village store and world class restaurant in the Auberge. We are a 2 minute walk from the train station. Paleo Festival is held in the fields beneath us during July. Nyon is 7 mins, Geneva 30 mins and Geneva Airport 40 mins by train (18 mins by car). We are in cyclist heaven with mountain biking in the Jura and road cycling through the vineyards and along the lake. The local train takes you right up into the Jura for hiking in summer or skiing in the winter. For long-stay bookings, weekly interim cleans will be provided free of charge.
