‘The Secret Spot’ Pembrokeshire hideaway
Hello, we would like to welcome you to our lovely revamped house trailer. We’ve put so much work into creating this home from home in a part of our garden in the lovely peaceful village of Lamphey in rural Pembrokeshire. Only a couple of minutes from Freshwater East Beach, a beautiful sandy, safe swimming beach, eight miles from fabulous Tenby and two miles from historic Pembroke town. We have completely renovated this classic two bedroomed house trailer, adding extra insulation, wood panelling and full fitted bathroom with power shower. It is a lovely cosy space with everything you might need for your holiday. You will have your own private garden, where you can bring your vehicle in through the double gates for extra security, or park in the front driveway, where you will have a guaranteed space directly outside the gate. You have private access from the front drive way with a separate, secure lockable gate. However we are only next door, and will be available if you need any help or advice. We are keen water sporters and can give advice and tips on the best local places and tide times to surf, paddle board, snorkel or swim. We will leave keys to the accommodation in the key safe, and will minimise personal contact as much as possible to keep you as safe as we can during your stay. However we will always be available for help, advice or tips on places to go, whether that’s over the phone, or from a safe social distance! Lamphey is a lovely peaceful village with the incredible 12th Century ruins of the old Bishops Palace within the village itself. Three great pub/ restaurants, a historic church and even the newly established Lantern Project - Gallery, tea room and tattoo establishment.. we are central to all the lovely beaches and landmarks which make South Pembrokeshire so special, famous surfing beach Fresh Water West is just 10 miles or so away, and Barafundle, Stackpole Quay, Manorbier and Tenby are all closer still. If you are a keen walker access to the Pembrokeshire Coast Path is just a couple of minutes away, or the beautiful Preseli Hills are half an hours drive. There’s so much to do in lovely Pembrokeshire and we are pretty much central to everything! Lamphey train station is less than a minutes walk from our place with direct trains to Tenby and Pembroke. Easy links to the main road which crosses the breadth of the county, and is the continuation of the main road into the county.
