Romantic getaway on the Lake of Como

Holiday house with lake view and a large balcony, 10 minutes drive from the "Lake Como Adventure Park". Perfect location for those who love hiking, cycling or mountain bike enthusiasts. Ideal for a romantic weekend away from the city stress, a few steps from Valtellina, Valchiavenna and Ticino (Switzerland). The house was an old barn renovated over the years. The furnishings have been recovered and arranged to keep the ancient spirit of this mountain house. At first-floor kitchen complete with a gas stove and dishes. Living room with sofa, television (although it deserves more the view from the balcony) and a small service-bathroom. On the second floor main bathroom and a room with a queen-size bed. My family and I are proud of the work we have done in renovating this mountain hut and we particularly care and show you the house and the village of Garzeno. Garzeno is located at 680 meters above sea level. It is the classic mountain village where everything takes place around the church square and the bar. Don't be afraid if you don't understand the local dialect, sometimes I struggle too. The highway does not reach Garzeno. To reach this location you will have to go uphill by car from Dongo. The road is all paved but I understand that it is not the most inviting. If you don't feel comfortable driving on this street, contact me to organize a transfer. The cost of the transfer is extra.
