1. Quiet Retreat in the Beaujolais Hills. Room 1

Located in the heart of one of France's most beautiful regions, Les Granges de Narbonne was a farm more than 150years ago. Beautifully renovated, it now hosts 4 cosy rooms for your pleasure.  This room has a double bed for up to 2 people. There is an en suite in each room. The large comfortable shared dining hall and kitchen will be perfect for singles, couples, or family reunions and parties. The region has historic castles, hiking trails, cheese, honey, farms, dining & much more.... Your room will have its own private bathroom with shower and toilet. You will have full access to a full functioning kitchen as well as a large historic dining hall with wood fireplace. You will also have access to a laundry, free parking and bbq I live in an adjoined house and will be available to assist if required. I speak French fluently and some English. Please ensure you have looked at the Location & Directions prior to arriving to ensure you find us without hassle. We are also correctly tagged in (Hidden by Airbnb) and Apple maps so just search ‘Les Granges de Narbonne’ and you can navigate easily that way. We trust that you will enjoy your stay here. I am available to try to answer any questions that you may have. In the meantime I have put together some notes to hopefully help you while you are here: 1.If you require breakfast please advise. This is available for an additional fee of €5/person. 2.In the dining hall there are a selection of wines from the Beaujolais that you are welcome to take for a small fee of €3/bottle. 3.You are welcome to use the common areas (lounge, kitchen, toilet and dining hall) however we ask you to keep it clean and tidy at all times as a courtesy to other guests. 4.There are washing and drying facilities if you require – please just ask me. 5.Smoking inside is forbidden. Please feel free to use the garden areas outside 6.Other than in the dining hall fireplace, no fires or flames are allowed inside. That includes candles & incense. 7.The BBQ is available for use as well. Please make sure you extinguish the fire after use and leave it clean and tidy. 8.Wifi is available, but unfortunately it is not very fast. The password is in your room. I have the highest possible speed that the installed cable in the region will allow. Hopefully you can take the time to disconnect and enjoy other pleasures while you are here. 9.Mobile phone reception is available but can be affected by bad weather. If you need a signal it may be easier up on the main road. If you have an urgent issue and need a land line please ask me and you can use my phone. 10.No other guests are allowed to stay other than those listed in your booking. If you wish to book other rooms for additional people please just ask me. 11.There are two pleasant small restaurants in the area that I can recommend: Le Parasoir in Saint Cyr Le Chatoux (2.2km); and Les Trois Ours in Lamure sur Azergues (10km). Please contact them prior to ensure they are open and available for you. 12.The nearest supermarket is Intermarche in Lamure sur Azergues (9km). 13.I have other information on nearby tourist attractions and wineries that I have left in the rooms.
