A surfhouse in the village of the lighthouse, a stone's throw away from the legendary Boilers surf spot. Boilers offers a consistently perfect right wave, and the location is perfect for scouting out other surf spots (including secret ones to get away from the crowds). Live the local culture with tajine, mint tea, fresh seafood and relaxed Moroccan lifestyle. Enjoy perfect sunsets from the many caves lining the coastline and gaze at the Milky Way at night. (Website hidden by Airbnb) We have plenty of space to chill and relax, with lots of cushions and soft, warm blankets. You'll find a guitar, snorkelling gear and plenty of space for your boards and wetsuits. You can use Wifi, watch TV or listen to music in our chill-out area. The stone and ceramic construction makes for a cool house when its hot and a warm house when it's cold outside. The decoration is inspired by a fusion of local Moroccan and surf culture. The terrace in front is perfect for barbecues and basking in the sun or under the shade of the tree. Find the parking for Boilers surf spot, follow the track north up the coast. It is the white and red house (with pink windows) round the corner. To find Boilers surf spot - if heading north on the main road and you come across the lighthouse, you have gone too far. If heading south from Essaouira, the turning is maybe 300m past the lighthouse. I'm always available for my guests and am keen to play guitar together, cook local cuisine (with fresh seafood from the fishermen of the village), and show you the best surf spots and help you with whatever you need. I'm a certified surf instructor and can teach beginners at the easiest beach breaks, and intermediates at the mellowest, longest breaks a short drive from the house. I can take you to Paradise Valley, we can go sandboarding on the dunes, or go snorkelling together. Of course if you prefer to have your own space I will respect that. We could talk about the waves at Boilers, the view of the lighthouse or the sound of the waves at night, but I think that you'll find that the best thing at Boilers is the people. We can have a meal with typical food cooked by my mother, drink tea with the neighbours and you can experience the real Moroccan way of life. Our house is situated right in the middle of all the best surf spots in Morocco, the reef in front has lots of colourful sealife for snorkelling and we're a short drive away from the hip and busy town of Taghazout and the vibrant markets of Tamri and Banana Village (all of which I can take you to by car). We have a bus stop right in front of the lighthouse (a stone's throw from our house) where you can take all the local buses and grand taxis to Agadir, Tamri, Taghazout, etc. I can also pick you up and take you to the airport and bus station in Agadir. We're still working on renovating the house, namely on the first floor, but you will already find it a lovely place to stay.
