Gîte Le Cochon Volant is a renovated yet authentic 19th-century slate-roofed farmhouse, which can accommodate up to 9 persons (max. 4 adults) and is situated on the edge of a small village in Burgundy. Located next to the Morvan National Park, the Gite is surrounded by charming villages, lakes, rivers and is located close to the ancient, 180 km long waterway 'Le Canal du Nivernais'. This property is ideal for children. Although situated at the top of the village, the grounds are largely horizontal. High chair and cot are incl. in rental price and available on request. Enjoy the large grounds of the Gîte where your kids can just run around and try out our small tricycles. Experience the feeling to actually read a good book in our lounge chairs while they have great fun jumping on our huge trampoline, splashing around in the 'cow wading pool' or playing 'house' in the courtyard area. This old slate-roofed stone 'lavoir' has electricity and light and keeps them busy for days. Covered parking area keeps the cars cool during the summer. Pack your picnic basket, walk 100 meters up the lane and enjoy the panoramic view overlooking the hills of Burgundy. Autumn explodes in rich deep colours as the first storms invite you to enjoy a wine in front of the fireplace. A walk in the white frosted winter landscape, invigorates body and mind.
