Poppy's Pad

Set on the Brecon canal "Poppy's Pad" is a brand new modern luxury studio apartment. It has a private entrance set on the canal bank and is located above a community pub which welcomes families, dogs and couples. Poppy's pad has a large living area with a vaulted ceiling, king bed, sofa bed and full kitchen. A separate luxury bathroom with a walk in shower completes the space. The apartment over looks the hills and town of Risca which can be seen from the two Juliet balconies. The pub The Prince of Wales Inn is over 100 years old and is set on the canal bank. The main bar has an open fire and live music some Saturday's . The new lounge is more contemporary and serves Sunday lunch. In Risca town there is a local train link to Cardiff our Capitol City, which ideal for shopping, eating out, concerts and of course, rugby at the Millennium Stadium. The station is around 10 mins walk from the accommodation and has free parking. My wife and I live locally and are on hand most days if you have any queries. Our pub Manager, Richard and staff are friendly and on site 12 noon until late should you need any information about the flat or the area. Risca is a small town with full amenities and local shops. It is a great place for scenic walks or bike rides along the canal or to our local landmark hill Twm Barlwm. The nearby of city of Newport has department stores and a National train and bus station.
