The Dunkirk beach club is perched on the main beach at Salt Rock, a short 4 minute drive down the hill, and the ideal place to base yourself for a day at the beach, with toilets, showers, secure parking right on the beach, cafe and braai facilities, or for an evening sundowner or braai. Tiffany's shopping centre is a short drive up the road, which fulfils all basic shopping requirements. Numerous restaurants and cafes are on tap. Salt Rock is only 10 minutes from Ballito, with another selection of excellent beaches, shopping centres and plentiful restaurants. The coastline offers some amazing sightings of dolphins, or whales during the whale season (August).
