Victorian property in a leafy suburb of Huddersfield. Peaceful location and 20 mins walk to town centre, railway station, Lawrence Batley Theatre and University. Large bedroom with comfy double bed. Full use of all amenities in the house including outdoor hot tub. Bus stop nearby, town centre is 5 minutes away by bus. Shops nearby. Magic Rock brewery is 5 minutes walk away. Only a couple of minutes walk into fabulous valley and country walks. Driveway parking. Only 5 minute drive from the M62. Our home is a carefully renovated 1920's property and is an airy, tranquil setting albeit only a 20 minute walk to the town centre. We allow guests full use of all our home's facilities and we are happy to try and meet any additional requiremets for your stay with us. Your private space in our home is a very large room with plenty of light entering via the original sash windows. In the room is a kettle, tv, DAB radio also a variety of snacks and drinks. All the house, the south west facing garden with sun all day and the hot tub is available if so desired. All guests are welcome in the communal areas of the house eg living room, dining room, kitchen and gardens. By all means sit and have a drink and a chat with us during your stay. Our neighbourhood is quiet. There is a healthy mix of cultures in our neighbourhood. All giving respect to each other as we meander our way through life. We have a Buddhist centre only a few minutes. Only a ten minute walk away we have a wonderful newly opened bistro cafe which is actually the quite stunning Victorian stately home adjacent to a private burial ground. Sounds a little odd i know but the food in there is amazing. It is getting fantastic reviews. There is a plethera of local food outlets nearby and we are lucky to be only a ten minute walk away from the increasingly notorious Magic Rock brewerey and tap room. No to be missed with over a dozen craft and real ales on tap each and every day. We are only a few minutes walk to the nearby bus stops with a variety of bus services that will take you into the town centre and the train station in under 5 minutes. Taxis are no problem, we have at least three taxi companies close by and all are cheap enough. We offer off road parking on our private driveway.
