Nyth Coetir (Woodland Nest)

Designed for the perfect getaway, tucked away in a private corner of our garden, where nature is truly at its best. Enjoy a soak in your own private hot tub, chill out on the decking area with marshmallows on the fire, overlooking beautiful views of the Garw Valley or head indoors and cosy up next to the fire with a warm cup of hot chocolate or a glass of bubbly. This beautifully finished Nest in the woods is ideal if you fancy getting away from busy lives to do as little as you like. Our Shepherds Hut is situated in a private corner at the back of our garden between a little forrest of trees, mountainous views and your own spacious decking area. We have tried to create a rustic yet warm and cosy area where you can feel at ease from the moment you arrive. Whether you visit to relax and soak in the hot tub or fancy long walks and admiring nature, we have it all. The space- our Shepard hut is beautifully designed to ensure it is easy and relaxing to settle into as soon as you arrive. Once inside, you will find a fully fitted kitchen with a butlers sink, small oven and two hobs, a kettle, toaster, fridge and all essential utensils, with complimentary tea, coffee, hot chocolate and fresh milk. Once you have cooked up a storm in the kitchen, we have created the cutest dining area that you slide out when you want to use it or push back in to get access to the bedroom area or to simply have a little more space inside the hut. The beautifully finished bathroom includes a shower and complimentary toiletries. The log burner is perfect for those cold winter nights and keeps the whole hut cosy and warm and creates the perfect glow of light inside when the sun goes down. When it's time for a little shut eye, you can climb into the snug bed and be sure to switch off for a quality nights sleep. Inside the sleeping area is also a tv with Netflix. Outside space- as soon as you walk up your private walkway into Nyth Coetir, all outdoor space is yours to enjoy. Step up on to the decking area and keep warm in front of the fire pit, create a BBQ for breakfast or evening meal or melt marshmallows for a little tasty fun! Alternatively you could sit down and relax, enjoy the views or watch the birds in trees, the choice is yours. Finally why not jump in the hot tub, connect to the Bluetooth speakers and relax for hours whilst admiring the views. Neighbourhood- Summer or winter, there is plenty to do in the area. At the bottom of our lane is a walking path that takes you further into the valley or you could follow the river and head towards Bryn Garw Nature park with lots to see and a cute little tea room when you get there. The area also has some great cycling trails if you fancy taking our bikes out and heading out for the day. Getting around- We are just 10 minutes from the M4 motorway, shops and restaurants, only 10 minutes to the nearest train station (where parking is free) if you want to head to Cardiff, Swansea or further afield. There is a local bus service in the village or we are happy to offer a taxi service if you let us know in advance. Other things to note- we ask that all guests read our Guest Manual for top tips on the area and the how to guides on our appliances and hot tub if we are unable to greet you on the day you arrive. We are also happy to help if you need us during your stay so do not hesitate to get in touch. From the main road and up our driveway, there are steps that take you up a gravelled pathway and into Nyth Coetir. Access is easy and private to guests only Our aim is to greet all guests on arrival, however as checking in times can vary, we have a key safe installed for these instances. Ideally we would like to show all guests around and explain how the hot tub and lighting works etc. During our guests stay, we are happy to be contacted to answer any questions or help out where we can. Ultimately this experience is as interactive as our guests want it to be.
