Bay View Andros - Unit "Ydor"

The unit “ydor” or ὕδωρ (water) was used by the family as the water collection tank. The space was transformed in a comfortable duplex with spectacular panoramic views of the Bay and the Eastern Aegean Sea. The kitchen, living room and bathroom are located in the lower level of the duplex while the upper level includes a spacious bedroom with a big balcony. Watching the sunrise from that balcony is an unforgettable experience. It has an internal area of 67 m2 To get to our island you must first reach the port of Rafina (Eastern Attica), either by Attiki Odos and Marathonos Avenue, or from the airport by taxi or bus. There are many daily ferry trips from Rafina to Andros island, during summer, usually in the morning -from 7 to 8 am- and in the afternoon from 16.30 onwards. You can get your tickets at local agencies, but it is recommended to book them in advance. The journey usually takes two hours but travelling with the fastest ships it takes less than 90 minutes. Leaving the ship at the port of Gavrio-Andros, you will either go by your own car, or by taxi, or by bus to Ormos Korthiou (36 km). Our traditional houses are located in the first km on the provincial road Ormou Korthiou-Chora.
