Contemporary home/B&B on beautiful Cowichan Lake -- this waterfront property with stunning views is situated on a level lot beside a seasonal creek and features a large deep water dock. Part of a quaint gated community with ample privacy, this place is perfect for small families only (light breakfast provided). We only rent weekly during high season this summer and we have a 3night minimum stay for the reminder of the year. Thank you! This one level home features 9 and 10 foot ceilings, spacious rooms [1king and 2 Queens with bunk beds on top, perfect for children], two bathrooms, large gourmet kitchen, laundry, hardwood floors, gas fireplace and is tastefully furnished with lots of original art works. The lot is level with a slight incline to the water, and 8 or 9 steps up to the home. This incredible home features a beautiful private outdoor sitting area as well as a natural fire pit surrounded by ample sitting opportunities [during the dry season a propane fire pit is available]. Guests can access the 1600 sq. ft. open style living/dinning area with gourmet kitchen, one master king bed room and two secondary rooms with queen beds that feature an upper single bunk bed. [One bedroom and the garage are not for guest use] We are available for questions throughout your stay by email, phone and sometimes in person. Our beautiful contemporary home/B&B is located in a gated family friendly community of 12 homes. Our property offers water sports opportunities like swimming, canoeing, and paddle boarding and is the perfect place to experience outdoor adventures near by like walking, hiking, biking, fishing, golfing and mushroom picking [seasonal]. On Saturdays, Honeymoon Bay's quaint farmers marked can be reached by foot or use our two mountain bikes for a fun outing. Good amenities are available at the small town of Cowichan Lake located 9 km to the east from our stay by car and a tiny store is only 5 minutes by bike from where we are if you need essentials or like to treat yourself to a fish and chip take out etc. There is public transportation close by and parking opportunities within the subdivision. -There is parking available for 4-5 cars. - Please make sure you don't leave food or garbage outside overnight as there is an abundance of wildlife. - Enhanced cleaning routine: We pride ourselves in offering our guests a sparkling clean home and like to inform them that we are following the cleaning and disinfecting guidelines according to airbnb -- based on the recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention [CDC]. - We offer Toiletpaper, paper towels, tissue and soap as well as cleaning products and like to encourage our guests to help maintain the high cleaning standards we need in these times of extraordinary circumstance. - And we do serve a light breakfast:)
