Lovely South Lakes Apartment in scenic Arnside

This luxurious holiday apartment was fully renovated throughout in 2018. The property commands the top floor of a two-storey stone house called Belmont. It is presented to a very high standard, offering light rooms with modern Laura Ashley furnishings. The property is an excellent choice for a weekend or week-long break, providing all comforts needed for a relaxing time. There are plenty of good walks from the doorstep, or Kendal is 9 miles away and Windermere only 17 miles away. The property is super comfortable and very conveniently located for all local amenities while being just away from the hustle and bustle of the Arnside promenade. Three luxurious bedrooms, sleeping five people (Two doubles, one single), there is also a two-seater settee for a sixth guest if required. Newly refurbished bathroom with bath, (separate) shower and separate WC. Fully-equipped high end kitchen and spacious hallway. A range of conveniences include: Dishwasher, washing machine and dryer. Iron, ironing board, clothes dryer, hair dryer and microwave. Bed linen and bathroom towels are provided. Off-street parking for one car and outdoor seating area. In house entertainment includes: WiFi, TV, DVD, DAB Radio, board games and a wide selection of books. Located just one minutes walk from the Arnside promenade, all amenities including, cafes, pubs, shops are in easy walking distance. The Apartment has it's own entrance up an external stairway and is completely self-contained. There is access to a private parking space and also a seating area to enjoy the evening sunshine. Whilst we are not available in person ie. face to face; we are fully contactable by phone or text and email throughout the guest's stay. Arnside is a idyllic village in a beautiful location. It's popular on sunny days with walkers, fishing and general holiday-makers wanting to soak up the wonderful views across the estuary and towards the lakes. The best thing about Arnside is that it has all the amenities you need for an enjoyable break, the pubs do great food and drinks and look out across the estuary and are therefore a lovely setting to spend an evening. If you want to tour and walk in the Lake District, Windermere, Coniston and Ambleside are an easy drive away. But the best thing about Arnside is that whilst the rest of the Lake District gets very busy (especially in Summer), Arnside is like a welcome calming retreat for you to relax in, away from the crowds of the car parks of the main Lakes attractions. Whilst there is a designated parking space, guests do not have to have a car to travel to Arnside. There is a train station with a regular service to Lancaster or to Lake District destinations. Guests may choose to travel by train then take the 5-10 minute walk to the Apartment. There are numerous shops and pubs/cafes available in walking distance. Plus there are many walks and the beach can be reached within minutes of leaving the front door. Please note that the apartment is on the 1st floor and one set of external stairs will need to be climbed to enter. There is a handrail.
