We offer self catering accommodation from 46 euro/room. Breakfast is available at an additional cost. Guests are welcome to use the large garden area and our garden hot tub. Please note the use of the hot tub is per 45 min session and needs to be requested the night before. A surcharge for running cost/maintenance applies. Hot tub closes 10pm While our accommodation is totally separate, we love interacting with our guests. Share information and tips where to find the nicest spots to see, where to eat or listen to a bit of music in one of the local bars. We live in a lovely relaxing rural area. There are gentle country walks right outside. With a short drive you will be able to explore beautiful coastal towns such as Baltimore, Glandore, Schull and many more. There are lovely beaches and the nature reserve Lough Ine is only a 10 -14 minute drive from our house. People who used our bikes cycled to some of these beauty spots which is a lovely way to spend a whole day. A picnic maybe?? The River Ilen is a medium sized spate river about 21 miles (33kms.) long and flows through some of the most beautiful scenery in West Cork. A large part of the river is managed by the River Ilen Anglers' Club based in Skibbereen. The season for Salmon & Sea Trout opens on February 15th and closes on September 30th for Salmon and o There is no public transport from our property. Skibbereen has a bus service to Cork city and some of the smaller towns around. Cork airport is about 80 km. It would be best to have a car, but there is a bus service from Cork airport to Cork city and then to Skibbereen. Once in Skibbereen pick up can be arranged if prior notice is given.
