Do you want to escape day to day busy life?? Then Bumblebee Lodge is for you!! Located on the peaceful site of The Woodlands. Sleeps 4 (+1) ; 2 bedrooms (1 x double, 1 x twin), sofa bed, kitchen, living room, bathroom, decked patio with outdoor seating. On site there is a Heated outdoor swimming pool available from May - Sept. Tywyn beach is just 3 miles from the park. Aberdovey close by. Cadair idiris on the doorstep. It's all here waiting for you!! The cleaning charge covers the cleaning, linen provision for the double and twin beds, 4 bath towels a hand towel and tea towel. The Chalet is detached in the Woodlands Holiday Park offering beautiful views over the surrounding valleys and mountains, 2 miles from the quiet seaside town of Tywyn with it's great beach for sandcastles and a variety of wildlife and if you're lucky the visit from seasonal dolphins, great play area and Tywyn Leisure Park. Approx 7 miles down the coast is Aberdyfi, with a beautiful harbour, ideal for crabbing and availability of numerous watersports, surrounded by traditional buildings and quaint shops, pubs and cafes. Further up the coast is the town of Harlech with its array of antique shops, beautiful Welsh Tea Room and of course the gorgeous Harlech Castle, next door to Barmouth a busier town with another beautiful harbour. Not too far away is the market town of Dolgellau and access to the Mawddach Trail from where you can walk or cycle to Barmouth alongside the beautiful Mawddach Estuary. Coming through Machynlleth you can observe the Mach Loop, the training of the RAF operational low flying aircraft, timings are (Email hidden by Airbnb) . This is definitely something to be seen and heard! Access to the whole chalet. Site access during season to the swimming pool, restaurant and clubhouse. Also available on-site is a laundry room. Pool and Clubhouse currently closed due to Covid. Available by email or phone. Set in the south of the beautiful Snowdonia National Park, with easy access for walking, hiking, cycling and water sports. See the heights of Snowdon, the breath-taking lake of Cadair Idris or the beauty of Dolgoch Falls. The Wales Coast Path runs right through the town and onto the beach, which is a Blue Flag Award winner. From the beach, the views are spectacular on a clear day; if visibility is good you can see as far as the Llyn Peninsula, Pwllheli and Bardsey to the north, and Fishguard and Aberystwyth to the south. The south part of the beach, which is about five miles long, has extensive sand dunes, lots of lovely firm sand, and few rocks. The open waters of Tywyn are also regularly visited by harbour porpoises and bottlenose dolphins. Take a trip on the Talyllyn Narrow Gauge Railway or Fairbourne Miniature Railway, visit the Magic Lantern Cinema, Ynys Hir Wildlife Reserve or Castell y Bere or if you're into your golf Aberdovey has an 18-hole course. At King Arthur’s Labyrynth take a unique underground boat ride, through the great waterfall into a world of myths and legends. In a labyrinth of tunnels and caverns, tales of King Arthur and other ancient Welsh legends unfold. Going inland are the market towns of Dolgellau, Bala and Machynlleth with its weekly market every Wednesday. Bala is also noted for its lakes which are ideal for sailing. And you can't forget the Mach Loop, low flying RAF training, a must to see and hear! This really is a wonderful area of Wales to explore. Train - Getting to Tywyn by train is simple, stress free and amazingly picturesque. With trains coming in from Birmingham, the Midlands and Shrewsbury every couple of hours – and travelling up the Cambrian Coastline, your holiday starts before you even arrive. If you are using the bed settee you will need to provide your own pillows, duvet and linen along with any extra towels. Extra towels will also be required for the swimming pool or for the beach.
