Lovely house in Tuscany countryside

The house is located in a quiet domain in the Tuscany countryside, very pleasant, restful and in a very convenient area to move around the region. One side of the house faces fields with horses, and pines, and the other side of the house opens into a forest.The garden is private and perfect for long breakfast, dinners, and resting times… Very well equipped, you will easily feel at home. The house have two floors. On the ground floor is a big space with the living room and an open kitchen and a small laundry room gives on the backyard terrace. The kitchen is very well equipped and the living room very cosy in winter as in summer. It has a parquet, a coach, a dinner tableland space to store your food if needed. The first floor of the house has a long corridor along which are distributed the two large bedrooms, a small toilet and a big bathroom. Each of the bedroom has a big windows giving light to the rooms and facing a quite great sunsets at night. The rooms have the typical bricks floor and ceiling and both beds are doublebedr and are very comfortable. The large bathroom is situated at the end of the corridor, it has two sinks (but one is not working), one bidet, one toilet and a bathtub. However, the water of the whole bathroom is coming from a water tank which limits the quantity of water that can be used. That’s why we advise people to take showers rather than baths. If one person takes a bath, the others will need to wait 2 to 3 hours for the tank to refill before being able to have hot water again. Also, you must know that the water is a bit tricky in the bathroom, you will need to work it out a little bit… but in the end it’s gone a work! The terrace is very pleasant in spring, summer and part of the fall. It is placed in a simple garden opening to a small forest. Generally speaking we are taking great care of the house and wish for people to be at ease and comfortable it. It can be a very good place if you want to move around to visit Tuscany as well as an ideal place to disconnect for a while and take a little rest. The house is very well located to visit Tuscany. (25 km away from Pisa airport. 50 km away from Florence. 30 km Lucca. Volterra 40 km. 45 km San Gimignano. It is recommended to have a car to move around. To arrive without a car you will need to arrive at Pontedera Train Station and then take the bus to La Rotta. It is surrounded by pine trees and field with horses on one side and by a small forest on the other side. It is very quiet and the sunsets are never disappointing. Ideally, you will need a car to move around because the house is not close to grocery stores (around 10 minutes by car). Though, in 10 minutes walk you be in the village where is a few small stores with basic italian food, a good restaurant, a nice pizzeria with wood fire cooked pizza and 2 village bars. We can also advice you a few places for eating, groceries around and where to go to the sea….
