Rental does not include chapel area. Industrial modern apartment meets Victorian-era New England church turned art studio. 1 pillow-top queen bed and 4 bunked twins. Chapel use is not included in this rental. This rental is about a 1 1/2 hour drive to Boston and 3 hour drive to New York City. FUN THINGS TO DO IN THE AREA: *The Eric Carle Museum is 14 miles away. *The Norman Rockwell Museum is 64 miles away. *Hiking at the Quabbin *Mount Norwotuck hike *Dairy ice cream stands (Atkins Market on the way to Amherst and Alvon Rondo's Dairy Bar in Bondsville). *Great bakeries (Rose 32 Bakery north of Ware and the Hungry Ghost in North Hampton) *Belchertown Library (beautiful stained glass windows) *Depot Street path along the Swift River, and a newer playground. You'll be able to access the apartment. The chapel is not included in the rental. The Neighborhood There is a river trail just steps from the property and see below for other trails and conservation areas in Belchertown: (Website hidden by Airbnb) (Website hidden by Airbnb) You can swim in the Swift River though it's pretty cold and can be 'swift' in some spots - it's about 100 yards from the driveway. There is a beautiful hiking path all along. If you want to bring kayaks you can launch them at the end of East St (off 202). Also - there is a brand new park with a splash pad that is really fun! You can walk to both. Belchertown has a town beach: (Website hidden by Airbnb) And a town pool: (Website hidden by Airbnb) Parking is available alongside the church building. We are relying on the state of Massachusetts to let us know what restrictions are in place due to the Covid 19 pandemic. We will adapt our rental policies to meet those restrictions.
