Please note. See response below re Coronavirus. This is a clean and private room in a shared apartment. Your room locks and you will have your own key. The apartment is situated on the first floor within a quiet and secure apartment block. This is central London. You can walk to everywhere central including to: London Eye, Big Ben, The Thames, Southbank, St Paul's and Buckingham Palace. Zone 1 underground stations Waterloo and Southwark are within 3 minutes walk from the apartment.  Large clean and quiet private double room Private access to your own balcony Shared apartment, newly refurbished Free Wi-Fi internet connection and breakfast Two guests sleep in a double bed and a third guest can sleep on a comfortable and solid fold-out sofa-bed Check-in and check-out is flexible but the latest check-in possible is 11pm. Cleanliness is a priority. Previous guests will check out at least 24 hours before you arrive.  A deep clean of the apartment will take place before you arrive.  It is important that you tell me the time your train or flight arrives in london so I coordinate. Please note check-in after 11pm is not possible. So do not book this room if your flight lands later than 9pm.  This is a shared apartment. The kitchen and bathroom are shared. There is a separate bathroom and toilet/restroom. If I am not there in person I am contactable by phone call/text or email. I will respond within two hours max It is important to remember that it is possible (but not usual) that with the other guests there may be 4 other people in the apartment at the same time as you. This is central London. You can walk to everywhere including to: South Bank; the London Eye, Big Ben, Tate Modern, St Paul's Cathedral, Covent Garden, Trafalgar Square, Piccadilly Circus, Oxford Circus, Downing Street, and Buckingham Palace, Shakespeare's Globe Theatre, Borough Market and both London and Tower Bridges You can walk everywhere central. However the Zone 1 underground stations Waterloo and Southwark are within 3 minutes walk from the apartment. You can also hire bicycles. Please note. In response to the Coronavirus pandemic all steps are taken to ensure that the safety of guests is maintained and that the apartment is clean and free of any possibility of infection. Prior to your arrival a full deep clean will be undertaken of the apartment. This will include disinfectant and bleach on relevant surfaces. All bedding provided including protective under-sheets and towels will have been washed at high temperature prior to your arrival.  Prior to your arrival you will be informed of any other guests staying there. Guests must observe strict social distancing rules and remain no less than one metre apart from each other at all times. This means only one guest can use the kitchen at a time. Also surfaces must be wiped down after use with antibacterial cloths which are available in the apartment for use. This apartment is within an apartment block. However all residents observe strict social distancing measures. Where residents enter and exit the block at similar times they are asked to open and shut the gate themselves without holding the door for others so that social distancing an be observed. Please let me know if you have any questions about additional measures during this time of Coronavirus.  The price indicated is for one guest. There is an extra cost per night for an additional guest. Also this is a big room with a lovely balcony overlooking the communal garden area. However being central London, the apartment is relatively small and compact. Both of the other rooms can sleep two people so it is possible although unlikely that there will be four other guests staying in the apartment while you are there. This is unusual but when it has happened it has not been a problem for most guests. However I want to make you aware before you book.
