THE VIEW TO THE LAKE The Fortified Farm looks towards a terraced garden linked to 20 thousand Spartan supersti of the army of Prince Cleonomo. Part of them were won and subsequently enslaved. Infine per conto dei Wollemborg esso fu coltivato e mantenuto da Giovanni Mioni. Dal 1000 fu anche residenza dai progenitori di Luigi Da Porto, autore di "Giulietta e Romeo" . La vicenda fu magistralmente rappresentanta dalla magica penna di John Florio (Shakespeare ). Il Galileo Galilei che conosciamo grazie anche Bertold Brecht descrisse ampiamente i luoghi avendo egli vissuto presso qui il suo soggiorno coatto. Esso è stato anche molto bene descritto dal corrispondente berlinese dell"Ambrosiano" il Conte scrittore e memorialista Guido Piovene .
