Cambridge/ Byesville Furnished 1 Bedroom Apt

This is a standard 1 bedroom 1 bathroom apartment in downtown historic Cambridge Ohio. There are 5 total apartments in the building. The doors for the apartments are spread around the building so it creates a little extra privacy and less foot traffic by each apartment. We are 6 min from I77 and I70 and its 5 miles to the new Guernsey Power Plant under construction in Byesville. 3 Blocks is the Cambridge City Park and Wheeling Ave where you can shop, eat, or go for a stroll. The space is a standard 1 bedroom 1 bathroom apartment that is fully furnished. There is a newer stove and fridge. There is also all the kitchen appliances dishes, and linens. Inside the apartment is a front loading washer and dryer. All the utilities are included. The heating is gas and some electric baseboard heating and there is a wall unit for the a/c. The apartment was recently painted and many furnishings updated and replaced. The apartment has wood laminate floors with three area rugs. The mattress on the bed is a pillow top and is actually quite comfortable and so far only positive compliments that its comfortable. The bathroom has a new sink, and a new toilet, the tub has recently been re glazed so it looks shiny new. To access the bathroom you must access it through the bedroom. FYI There is a large sized walk in closet which is great for storage. The water pressure is great with a rare occasion that if all the washing machines happen to be in operation at the same time. Otherwise the pressure is great because the building was completely re plumbed in 2018. There is wifi at 100mbs however that is shared. There is a standard cable tv subscription for the apartment but we dont use the standard cable box receiver the cable tv is accessed through a Roku device. WE DO NOT ALLOW SMOKING OF ANY KIND BY ANYONE INSIDE OF ANY PART OF THE BUILDING I cannot state this enough. If you are a smoker you must do it outside of the building 5 feet away. The guest has access to the entire apartment. There are not locked off or closed off areas in the apartment. No guests are permitted to use the one driveway of the building. It is leased separately. The access to the spaces are with locks that have codes. We dont give out keys just the door codes. In most cases we will ask you to make up a code so its your own customized access. The apartment and the building are located in one of the nicer areas of Cambridge as per the locals. Its lined with trees and is clean and has a great appearance. The city part is 3 blocks away and a walk there or even around the block is a very pleasant experience. You can also walk to Wheeling Ave to the stores, shops, and restaurants. Its only 3 blocks and is also an enjoyable walk. A car is mandatory, however there is a community bus that passes in front of the building but its route is limited. There is Barons bus to the larger cities in Ohio and West Virginia and the GO BUS as well. I have seen that Lyft is sometimes available but not all the time. Lastly Noble Taxi is the only taxi in the area. The building is nearly 100 years. Although most systems in the building are newer and have been updated the structure is till older. Some things such as windows may get stuck of which you will need to let us know to help. Also even though the apartments are cleaned throughout but keep in mind if the apt is closed up and not used its possible that there would be a old house smell. Its just because the apt is closed up. It occurs in most homes and structures and is normal.
