Bed and breakfast. Pets are welcome. We are located in the tranquility of the rural environment 2km from the town (no public transport, you need a car). We are waiting for you! B&B Stropelina offers the possibility of splendid visits from the Orobie to the cities of Bergamo, Brescia and Milan, to the lakes, to excursions on foot or by mountain bike along evocative paths of the Parco del Serio and enjoy a truly special holiday immersed in history and culture. Guests can use a parking space for each room. Under the porch there is a large common table to be able to stay outside and where it is possible to smoke (inside it is extremely forbidden to smoke as there is a lot of wood). The private garden of the BNB is accessible from the gate when it is open, while avoiding disturbing the animals already present. It is not allowed to access the lawn at the end of the parking lot and the area on the left that belong to other properties. For any need it will be possible to contact Federica or the other family members available for your entire stay. Near the BnB, a few kilometers away, there are places of historical and cultural interest: the sanctuary of Basella, the fortress of Urgnano, the castles of Malpaga and Cavernago and not far away the fortified village of Cologno al Serio and the castle of Pagazzano , Leolandia (about 15km), but much more awaits our guests: the nearby skeet shooting, the famous festivals in the area not to mention the beautiful historical re-enactments. Our location allows you to easily reach the motorway, the airport, the center of Bergamo and the Sebino lakes area in just a few minutes. We are 15 minutes from Orio airport and 10 minutes from the Seriate exit of the A4 motorway or the BREBEMI exit in Bariano. As already mentioned in the announcement, BnB Stropelina can only be reached by car. Public transport stops in the center of Urgnano 2km from our farmhouse and are active only during the day. From the BnB, on the other hand, it is possible to take various suggestive routes both on foot and by bicycle. The magnificent Serio park starts at 200 meters from us. Urban and historical centers are available just a few minutes away. We specify that we do not have the possibility to make the shuttle service. Cascina Stropelina is part of the park of the Urgnano-Basella farmhouses, a protected area with the aim of rural recovery that will be kept intact through a specification. In addition to the beauty of the rural landscape and the surrounding nature, there are some important aspects to consider. We are far from the historic center and there is no public transport coming to us. Pharmacy and any other service are available 2km away, the street is not illuminated and it is unsafe to travel along it at night on foot or by bicycle. From the airport, from the A4 motorway exit in Seriate or from Brebemi in Bariano there are between 10 and 15 minutes by car. We advise you to rent a car before midnight or use a taxi at the airport. People with allergies and sleep disorders must carefully evaluate whether they are in a position to accept our proposal (in the countryside there are pollen, dust, bees, wasps, spiders and insects, roosters crow at dawn, agricultural vehicles they are very noisy as well as the historic building with the original creaking wooden floor can cause annoyance to those who are very sensitive. In the surrounding areas it is possible to notice the presence of grass snake, yellow-collared grass snake, black snake or white snake, all totally harmless species and protected, the viper is not present in our territory. The surrounding farms raise animals and the fields are periodically fertilized, generating odors that some people may disturb. This certainly does not depend on us but it is the reality of the countryside, if you choose a place of this type means you need to be aware of it or and for any insects, noises and smells. We suggest for those who have problems of this kind to book in another place.
