Peaceful getaway in the Lancashire countryside

Set in the heart of the Lancashire countryside, our carriage provides all the essentials for a comfortable stay whilst being totally off grid. There is a log burning stove and solar lights within the main hut, whilst a second purpose built hut houses a small wet room including gas powered shower and a kitchenette containing a 2 ring gas stove including toasting rack, a fridge, small sink area and a USB charging point. The perfect base to explore the local area. Parking provided 250mtrs away. Within the main carriage you will find a full size double bed for which all bedding is provided. A comfortable 2 seater sofa facing the double doors to help you make the most of the view and a farmhouse dresser which houses all the essentials for your stay. We also provide a fold up table and 2 chairs should the weather not allow you to dine outside. There is also a small log burning stove (logs provided) should you not be lucky with the weather. Off road parking is provided. During periods of dry whether you can park right next to the carriage, however if we have had particularly wet weather a hard standing parking space is provided approximately 200metres from the carriage. Tranquil countryside location between Wheelton and Brindle, lots of farming and wildlife on your doorstep and enough walks to keep you occupied for weeks. Some lovely tearooms/pubs/restaurants within walking distance and a Co-op 5 minutes drive away should you have forgotten something. We offer off road parking along side the hut, however in wetter conditions the parking space is 250metres from the carriage. If exploring by car the M6, M61 and M65 are all nearby, guests can explore by bus from Wheelton or Whittle le Woods and Chorley town centre with bus and train stations is a 15minute drive away. All bedding and towels provided.
