The property is located in a rural village close to the small town of Merinchal 23420. Perfect for a peaceful getaway. There are 2 double bedrooms and can comfortably sleep 4. It is self catering accommodation and you will find everything you need for a comfortable stay. There is access to the balcony from the lounge with lovely views of the countryside. The property is self contained and is part of a barn conversion with it's own independent entrance and parking area. The kitchen is equipped with fridge freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, oven, hob, extractor fan, microwave, kettle, coffee maker and toaster. There is a cosy mezzanine area in bedroom 2 ideal for reading or just to relax. We live in a separate part of the barn conversion so we can be contacted if necessary. The property is located on the D39 and is 2.6 km away from Merinchal which has a restaurant, tabac, small supermarket and self service fuel station. Auzances 16 km away with shops, supermarket and restaurants. Aubusson 35 km away with shops, supermarket, restaurants and the Tapestry Visitor Centre. Pont du Bouchet is 25 km away and has a lake with watersports, restaurants and picnic area. Larger cities of Gueret, Clermont Ferrand and Montlucon are an hour away by car. If guests wish to use the wood burner during the winter months there is an additional charge of 5 euros per basket of logs. Guests must inform us if they would like to use the wood burner and would like us to supply the logs.
