Deep in the South of France, nestling in the foothills of the French Pyrenees, the renovated stone cottage is ideally placed for walking, cycling, fishing, canoeing, swimming and skiing. The vine shaded south facing terrace offers fantastic views over the Aude Valley to Renne-le-Chateau, Coustaussa Castle & surrounding pics. A car is advised to see all this fascinating region has to offer, but if you prefer the bus , the stop is a 15 minute walk with links to Carcassonne and Paris. The cottage is in the centre of the Cathar region with plenty to do and see, whether it's white water rafting in the gorges of the nearby river Aude, or visiting one of the many hilltop localcastles.
