Crinan canal stone cottage Kerrycroy, Cairnbaan

Kerrycroy is a traditional stone cottage with fabulous views of the crinan canal . Set back from the canal access track it offers visitors peace and privacy with an enclosed sunny garden , safe for children and dogs . Newly refurbished , it has a spacious bedroom with super king bed and a single bed suitable for a child . The living room has views to the canal . There is spacious dining kitchen and bathroom with shower. Night storage heating and wifi. Suitable for couple/ families. the cottage is semi detached with a sunny enclosed garden facing the canal . it is light and airy with large windows looking out on the canal and at the back to fields where cows and deer come . birds come to the feeder outside the kitchen window . The rooms are spacious and comfortably furnished . The bedroom has a super kingsize bed and a single bed suitable for a child . The living room is comfortable and homely . The TV has free view and netflix. theris wifi . The kitchen diner is spacious and is well equipped with induction hob , oven microwave fridge freezer coffee machine dishwasher and washing machine . teh bathroom is arger and has a shower over bath with modern fitted units Guests need to have a car . parking is below cottage in parking area by canal I know the area well and have spent many holidays at the cottage exploring the area and chilling in the garden. I don't live locally but can be contacted by phone if there are any queries. I have contacts in the area who may be able to help out The cottage is on the banks of the Crinan canal an area steeped in history and mazing landscapes . The cottage is on the track side of the canal so much quieter with only access traffic and cyclists and dog walkers. The cottage is adjacent to woodland and farmland with cows and deer making a daily appearance over the wall by the kitchen . The cottage is approx 15 mins walk from the Cairnbaan hotel and 5 mins in the car to Lochgilphead . This small seaside town has both tourist and functional shops. There are following shops: coop, pharmacy, hardware, takeaways bookshop and cafes and restuarants . also a range of gift shops and a play park . Eat at the Smiddy cafe down the lane opp the Argyll book centre , bar meals at the Cairnbaan hotel or cafe at Crinan. there is an indian and chinese takeaway. explore the area , walks, ancient standing stones, ferry to the islands, gorgeous gardens , cycle the canal parking is in parking space below grassy bank below cottage. best to have a car tos ee the area but cycling is popular . there is a bus service to and from Oban and Glasgow . There is a local taxi service
