Family place with huge terrace, 10 km to Lj center

10 km from city center of Ljubljana on quiet location we have completely renovated house with 3 apartments. This is middle apartment with huge terrace, spacious, comfortable for a family of 6 (they all can sleep in beds) and can host up to 7, even 8 people (for sleeping over it is just big enough). 1st floor apartment, a house doesn't have elevator. Private parking in front of the house! Nice, green exterior, good base for exploring Slovenia, self check in/out. You can expect comortable stay on the 1st floor. Guests are very happy with the place which was completely renovated, all new furniture, matresses, everything besides the stairway in the house was renovated. Each apartment has around 70 m2. Apartment has two bedrooms, master bedroom has queen bed (160 x 200 cm) and single bed OR second queen bed (two queen beds for 4 kids, for example). Second bedroom has one queen bed and nice view to Šmarna gora, most popular hill around/in Ljubljana. Great apartment for a family of 5 or 6. If you are not a lazy cat :) climbing Smarna gora (St. Mary's hill) is a "must" - 1 hour easy walk one way. This apartment is perfect base for those who would like to explore Slovenia - not just Ljubljana. - apartment is only 1 km away from Gorenjska highway, only 1 km from motorway to Ljubljana; - 15 minutes car drive to Ljubljana airport Jože Pučnik; - 20 minutes to Ljubljana center; - 30 minutes to Bled; - 35 minutes to Postojna cave; - 55 minutes to Bohinj; - 90 minutes to Piran; - 90 minutes to Trieste, Klagenfurt; - 180 minutes to Venice; - 170 minutes to Salzburg ... Apartment is "yours" during your stay. Privacy guaranteed! You share staircase, washing machine, iron, iron board and some other stuff which are not frequently used. We have family with 4 kids and several apartments, so usually (especially in high season) we don't socialize with our guests who stay only for 2, 3 nights. But for longer stay we will be glad to spend some time with you if you want/need us for tips etc.. Please, ask, don't be shy! :) We have three pizzerias within 1 km (Kaval - italian restaurant, nice and fancy; Bizeljčan - homey restaurant with kids room with tons of toys; Pizzeria Medved (on walking distance, close to bus station, they can drive you pizza to the apartment). Old family homey restaurant with traditional food - Gostilna Grad (they are most popular on fried chickens). And another restaurant - Košir and coffee shop Dvor Tacen. We have two good grocerie stores Mercator and Spar 1 km away. If you want to buy some farm products (raw milk, "real" eggs, dairy products), ask! There is a farm on walking distance where we get milk (0,8 €/liter). Actually there is a "milk machine" (self service). Ask and we will give you directions. Our apartment is set under most popular hill in and around Ljubljana - Šmarna gora (St. Mary's mountain). We will provide directions how to get to the top. It is 1 hour of easy walk, but for fit people Šmarna gora is only half an hour challenge. :) For runners - ask for round "trail" from our house - 6 km. Cca. 2 km of the trail is on the road, the rest is the best - no cars, almost no people. Also nice walk with stroller (I used to do it every day when being on maternity leave). it is nice, sleepy neigbourhood - no one will bother you, no big traffic, loud neigbours ... If you have a dog or cat (well behaved) - animals are welcome (20 €/pet/stay), but only one at the time. Please, note, we have one parking for each apartment. For bigger groups we need to know in advance if you are arriving with two cars. We will do our best to offer you second parking for your car. This apartment is 10 km from Ljubljana center (about 20 minutes drive by car). Bus stop is 5 minutes walk away (weekdays: bus no. 8, weekends: bus no. 1n, station name: Tacen). (Website hidden by Airbnb) is web-site where you can check when the bus arrives to the bus station. You need a prepaid card to get on the bus. You can borrow it from us, new one is 2 € + prepaid bus rides. One ride for one person is 1,3 €. you can drive around the city for 90 minutes for 1,3 € (get on/off the buses wherever you want). We recommend to have a car for day trips, but bus drive to Ljubljana is a nice option too. We ask familes and bigger groups to concider others in the house and reduce noise. Thank you for understanding. Otherwise it is a very quiet apartment and location. Pets are welcome if they are quiet, well trained and behaved. Ask ahead! You pay 20 €/pet/stay (you pay upon arrival or through Airbnb site after your stay). We expect to walk your dog to the forrest (accross the street 100 meters away) - we don't want to pick up your dogs' poops from our garden. :) Thank you for understanding.
