Cozy Caravan with incredible views

Update: I am blocking out the day before guests arrive and the day after departure. This gives the Caravans a good rest period of 24-48 hours between guests Along with a deep clean before you arrive I take my temperature, wear a mask at all times when inside cleaning. I'm staying home with very limited contact with the world. I take every precaution to make sure the Caravans are safe for you. A fully equipped kitchen offers everything you need to cook all your meals. You never have to leave! The Caravan is a cozy retreat but the heart of this space is the luxurious porch with beautiful views of Big Bend National Park, and at night, the milky way.  You will be within walking distance from the Ghost Town yet feel like you're in the middle of nowhere.  We have WiFi to keep you in touch with the world but recommend the silence and connections to nature that Caravans have to offer. An evening at our firepit that sits directly under the milky way is the perfect ending to your day.  We are all about privacy so rest assured this is not a shared space. The trailer, porch and bath house are just for you. If you are more than 2 people I offer a small Casita trailer for extra guests so 4 people can be comfortable. I never rent the Casita separately. We have internet access, a land line and Cell service works good for most carriers and texting seems to work great for everyone. Please call, text, email or send a message through Airbnb if you need anything. Otherwise I will respect your privacy. I am 15 minute from you and I'm always happy to help you with suggestions for hikes, biking, river trips, birding, anything that comes to mind. The Caravans have a lot of information, books, suggestions, restaurant ideas and more to help you navigate the Big Bend area. Due to Covid I will not be meeting you upon arrival. You are within walking distance from the Historic Ghost Town, Starlight Theater, Y Poco Mas, Music on the porch, human interaction, yet you will feel far away with the large views of the Chisos Mountains in Big Bend National Park, 15 minute drive to the west entrance. The lack of lights in our area make the skies feel so big you could fall into them. Hiking, biking trails leave right from your front door. The road to the trailer is an all weather road most of the year. July through September is our rainy season and it can get muddy and on occasion, flash flooding happens in the arroyos. You don't need 4x4 and high clearance is not necessary, but some clearance is. A nice hike from your front door to the Ghost Town porch is about 1/2 mile as the Raven flies one way and is an easy walk back and forth. If you are a mountain bike enthusiast this is the place for you. I can't even begin to tell you about all the great trails in our area, there are too many. You can leave from your trailer and explore miles and miles of good dirt roads or you can drive to the Big Bend Ranch State Park and ride on their single track trails that are, simply put, awesome. While we love both children and pets, they are not allowed . There are too many ways to get lost or hurt. However, children over a certain age are welcome! Feel free to inquire.
