Your own private entrance to a large room+ with full size bed, futon, work desk, flat screen TV, & fireplace. Shower and kitchete with microwave, fridge, and coffee maker. Located in a quiet/safe area with awesome view of Hamilton Reservoir. 1 mile off I-84. May Brook Road is usually quiet and a nice walk with views of the lake. Sturbridge is just up I-84 and has many restaurants and of coarse, Old Sturbridge Village. The Brimfield Antique Flee Market is 15 minutes away in May, July, and Sept. The Treehouse Brewery is a short drive. A mile away is the Travelers Restaurant which has great food and an assortment of books. Each guest gets to take home 3 books per person free. The space really is Cozy and Quiet! But close to I-84 and a lot of interesting places. The room is large with a small hallway to your private bathroom, storage area, and food prep area. Through a door at the end of the short hallway is a washer and dryer you can use. I have detergent available. Outside there are chairs where you sit and see the lake. There is also a side yard with a patio, gazebo, and fire pit. The outside area is mostly behind the house and secluded from the road. I live in the upper part of the house and am available for any questions or requests in person, text, or via cell phone. I have lived here for 30 years and can suggest many great restaurants and other places of interest. The house is located on the quieter, back side of Hamilton Reservoir, often called Holland Lake. May Brook Road is very quiet. If you go for a walk or run, expect others doing the same to say hi! The neighborhood is small town residential. It is part of The Last Green Valley National Heritage Corridor. Check it out on line to see the many activities available in the area. There is no public transportation except for taxi service. Traveler's Restaurant is an easy 1 mile walk if you don't want to drive. You do have to walk around to the back of the house via well lit stairs and walkway to get to your private entrance. But that adds to the secluded and private aspect of your stay. This is a very, very safe area. Locals often leave their doors unlocked, but all your doors have dead bolts for your peace of mind.
