A lovely room in a large farmhouse

A lovely room in a large farmhouse set in 17 acres of beautiful Dorset countryside just outside the charming village of Beaminster. Just 15 minutes drive from the stunning Jurassic coast, & the coastal town of West Bay (home of Broadchurch). The room will accommodate two adults and is close to your own large bathroom. It's a friendly family house and we have two small children, a dog and chickens, so it's often a little chaotic. Aside from the main garden which is private, there are 17 acres of fields and woodland you're free to wander about in. We live on the farm and one of us will always try to be there to greet you and get you settled into your room. Wantsley Farm is set in the beautiful rolling Dorset countryside outside the town of Beaminster and 20 minutes from the famous Jurassic coast. Our nearest seaside town and beach is West Bay (15 mins), and Lyme Regis & Chesil Beach are nearby. Mapperton House (the set for the film Far From The Madding Crowd) is just up the road. If you're keen walkers then you're in luck as there are dozens of wonderful walks nearby such as Lewesden Hill (the highest is Dorset), Pilsdon Pen, or you can just walk from the farm over the hill with view to the sea, and down to the nearby village of Stoke Abbott for a drink and a meal at The New Inn. There are busses from the local town. but the local town is quite a walk, so you'll need your own car.
