This is a 2 bedroom rustic cottage retreat in the countryside within a 15 minute cycle to the Mount Congreve entrance of the new Waterford Greenway. There is a king bed and 2 singles, and a travel cot can be arranged. There is one bathroom with shower and full kitchen. Tadpole Lodge is 7 minutes’ drive from Tramore and 12-15 minutes from Waterford City. This is a 2 bedroom rustic cottage retreat in the country side. The nearest shops, pubs and restaurants are in Tramore. There is a king bed and 2 singles and a travel cot can be arranged. There is one bathroom with shower and a kitchen with most mod cons. There’s an outdoor Gas BBQ for your use, tea and coffee, with milk in the fridge. Bed linen and towels are supplied. While there is a good mobile reception but there’s no TV or Wifi, but we guess you are here to escape so we have board games, books and jigsaws. You can go on country walks from the front door as well as a huge garden to kick a ball around. We’re reasonably pet friendly and have our own dogs and a cat. You will have your own driveway and entrance to Tadpole Lodge with full access to the lower garden. Plenty of space to kick a ball around, play rounders or soak up the sunny south east from the patio to the side of the cottage. Yes Kevin and Pam will be available to help you make the most of your stay in this beautiful part of Ireland. We are always up for a cup of tea and a chat. We are in the countryside surrounded by rolling green hills and fields. You can walk down the private lane to the side of the cottage for a couple of kilometres and it is very scenic. The closest shops are in Tramore village where you can access Tesco, Lidl and Supervalu as well as lots of great coffee shops and restaurants and a gorgeous beach. The entire coastline is dotted with beautiful beaches and we are close to the Copper Coast Geopark scenic drive. Waterford city is a short drive away with the famous Viking Triangle and Waterford Crystal among many other attractions. You will need your own car to get around as public transport does not pass by our door. There are lots of great cycling options too if you want to bring your bike. We do not have WiFi in the cottage but there is a signal via 3G and you can use the WiFi in our house if you need to. It's an old stone cottage with charm, there are bare floorboards and the kitchen has a belfast sink, It's quaint not modern luxury!
