Converted stable block adjoining main house provides basic yet cosy self contained accommodation. A snug and quirky space with own entrance, comprised of a downstairs area with lounge, kitchenette, dining table, WC and shower. Upstairs bedroom has two single beds. Private off road parking directly outside the property. Books, wifi and digital radio to keep you entertained but no TV. In the heart of the village of St Boswells, a perfect base for exploring the Scottish Borders. The shower is directly off the main living space, see photos for reference. The bedroom is at the top of a set of narrow and steep stairs so may be unsuitable for those with limited mobility. Kitchen area includes kettle, toaster, two ring induction hob and fridge freezer. Breakfast - cereal, milk, tea and coffee provided We're always available by text or phone and if we're home feel free to knock on the door. St Boswells has been named as one of the top ten places to live by the Sunday Times. This beautiful village in the heart of the Scottish Borders features the award winning bookshop/deli Mainstreet Trading, and award winning coaching inn, The Buccleuch Arms, with it's excellent pub and restaurant. Other amenities include Italian restaurant, chip shop, general store, butcher shop and more. The bus station in the centre of the village is a 5 minute walk from the house. Bus links provide easy travel to all parts of the Borders. The train station at Tweedbank is a 7 mile drive, has free car parking and provides regular quick access to Edinburgh and beyond. Walking: St Boswells is on both St Cuthbert's Way and the Borders Abbeys Way as well being near the Eildon Hills. Cycling: Lots of excellent road biking routes in the area, including Borders Abbeys Way. Mountain bikers have access to the world renowned 7 Stanes centres at Glentress and Innerleithen (both 45 minutes drive away) as well as the Tweed Valley.
