The Granary at The Barns at Friars Court was originally used to grind corn and milk cows, it has now been converted to a high standard boasting high vaulted ceilings with original beams. It is a reverse living barn with the spacious open-plan kitchen/diner and living room upstairs making the most of the views. Nestled in stunning Wye Valley countryside. Its just 7 miles from the M50 with the historic Market towns of Ledbury and Ross on Wye a short drive away. There is private parking to the front of the building, then as it is reverse living you reach the front door by climbing the front steps, there is then a very well presented living area with all the modern amenities you would expect including a Smart TV, this is a very private relaxing space. The stairs then lead down to the ground floor where there is a back door onto the patio and courtyard area. There are 2 stunning bedrooms each having zip link beds that can be either 2 singles or 1 Superking bed The spacious master bedroom has plenty of room for a cot and/or toddler bed. The beautiful bathroom houses a large shower cubicle, Free-standing bath, sink with cabinet and WC. We have cattle, sheep and a few free range chickens on the Farm seasonally we have lambs and baby calves. We live next door in the Farmhouse with our 4 year old twins. We are happy to help with anything you need. Our farm is a short walk from English Heritages St Marys Norman church which is a fascinating site. The renowned Daffodil way footpath runs along the boundary of our Farm along with other great footpaths on your doorstep. We also have a sensational Daffodil meadow on the farm with a wealth of nature within it. We are just under 3 miles from the village of Much Marcle where the Historic house of Hellens manor is located, close by there is Westons Visitor Centre and also a country pub in the village. Eastnor Castle, Symonds Yat and the Malvern Hills are a short drive away. Outdoor activities in abundance will be found in the Forest of Dean, including canoeing, climbing, fishing, golf, horse riding and cycling. For children, there is the Wye Valley Visitor Centre , with its maze, butterfly Zoo, miniature golf and laser tag, the Birds of Prey Centre Newent. There is a great outdoor children's area at Weston's visitor Centre I often find Grandparents minding children in the outdoor park whilst parents are on a Cider tour! Hereford, Malvern, Gloucester and Regency Cheltenham with its racecourse are all within easy driving distance. Ledbury railway station is 7 miles away.
