This was an Army Air Corp officer residence during WWII. This house has been remodeled and updated recently, but it still has the original layout. It is within walking distance from most places in Pendleton, close to Pendleton Convention Center, Round Up, Happy Canyon arena. All spaces in this home are accessible to guests; it is set up exclusively for AirBnB Guests short term or longer term rentals. We like to meet guests and make ourselves available as much as needed. We live right next door so if any problems arise we can take care of them promptly, if we are at home. This would be a great place to stay for temporary workers in Pendleton or the surrounding area. It is a quiet neighborhood and centrally located near Pendleton High School and Aquatic Park. There are two off street parking spots for this rental and another driveway up hill from the house, plus on street parking. It is close enough to the Pendleton Convention Center, Round Up Grounds to walk. Main Street is approx. 16 blocks east. Taxi and Bus transportation is available. Pendleton has some great restaurants, Museums, tours and parks. Restaurants: "Roosters", a family dining restaurant going south on highway 395. "The Saddle" is on SE Court Ave. across from the junction of Highway 11. Good food. "Hamley's Steak House", on Main Street, is a great place to eat, on the expensive side. "Cimmiyottis", another Steak house on Main Street. "The Golden Fountain" at S. Main & Frazer, great Chinese food. "OMG Burgers" on Main St. is a good place as is the "Great Pacific Wine" wine, coffee, pizza, etc. on S. Main St. The Rainbow Bar & Grill is a great place to get a drink or have lunch or dinner.
