Welcome to Hillsdon, a charming B & B in the southern Cotswolds. Nestled in the hills near the old mill town of Stroud, Hillsdon is situated down a stone-walled lane in a haven of quiet and tranquillity with beautiful open views of the Golden Valley. Find us on trip advisor 'Hillsdon B and B' Our B&B is a large re-furbished Cotswold cottage with stunning views. The house is a loved family home in which to have a relaxing stay in a quiet location. The kitchen diner has a large dining table to accommodate everyone, in the kitchen we have a traditional AGA and also use of an electric cooker. This keeps the house extra cosy and warm during the winter. The rooms are large, light and spacious. You will have access to you room(s). The kitchen diner, a fridge and the garden. We are in a friendly neighbourhood and will be available for any questions. Stroud is 10 mins by car with lots of restaurants, fantastic local country pubs, cinema shopping and a great Farmers market. Nearby are plenty of opportunities for country walks or nights in with a good book. The nearest local shop is a Tesco Express, 5 mins by car. The larger cities nearby are Cirencester, Cheltenham and Gloucester. To make the most of your stay we would recommend having a car. The nearest train station is Stroud, 10 minutes away by car/taxi. There are local buses, but they do not run very frequently over the Holiday period. Although we are in the beautiful (yet hilly) five valleys, it is a favoured spot for cyclists of all abilities.
