Cosy and calm room in the greens

Two cosy and calm rooms located independently from our house, opening on the garden. We live in Bernos-Beaulac, on the "Camino de Santiago" (chemin de Compostelle), close to the Ciron river crossing the Sauternes area further away and the Landes pine forest. We offer a private restroom and shower, and may host from 1, 2 (ground floor "rez-de-chaussee": 1 double bed) up to 5 people (additional room upstairs: 3 single beds). Decorated in a sober and chic style, the room is ideal for a 1/2 night stopover, while enjoying the garden and swimming pool (in summer). Near Bazas and the Graves wine region, 45 minutes driving from Bordeaux (A62 highway), on the road to Pau (A65 highway), 1h from: Pau, St-Emilion, Sauternes/Yquem, Biscarosse, Casteljaloux, ...). GASTRONOMY : Enjoy the local gastronomy in Bazas (Les Remparts restaurant, or café Saint-Jean) or in Langon (Claude Darroze, Michelin starred chef). WINE TASTING: Sauternes, Graves, and Saint Emilion are 1/2h away from our place. ARCHITECTURE :Bazas enjoys a 11th century cathedral, its square and arcades hosting local stores, antiques, cafés and restaurants. CYCLING: Riding along the "Canal du midi" in the shade of linden trees. HORSE RIDING: You may prefer horse riding, enjoying a ride or a western style riding lesson with our neighbors (a nationwide reknown horse riding club). CANOE KAYAC: Bernos Beaulac is well known for its kayac and canoe club. Going down the Ciron, enjoying its pastoral banks is a unique experience. ACROBRANCHE: The SUD'Aéro tree climbing club is waiting for you in Bommes near Sauternes and Yquem. The French Canadian owner and his wife, urban nomads, will guide you through the charms of this gastronomical region. Just in case: we have wifi.
